A short visit to Wrenchmonkees

in category Photography, Shop Visit

During a short trip to Copenhagen, we visited Wrenchmonkees. We had a chat about the custom scene in Denmark and its huge growth over the past two years. Due to this growth, many small shops have popped up, which unfortunately do not provide quality custom motorcycle builds. For the average buyer and the untrained eye those builds may seem amazing from afar but soon problems on the engine or the peripheral parts will appear. And the Wrenchmonkees is the place to go to fix those problems. Focusing on service rather than creating new builds crunched their available time and restoring a motorcycle is job not very well paid – at least most of the times. That lead them to change their strategy when it comes to their builds, focusing only on high quality (and probably higher budget) builds, starting from changing the pistons in the engine and building up to the outside shell.

We were not allowed to shoot two specific projects *that we cannot even mention* but be sure to expect some good surprises from their shop.
